Unlocking Breakthrough
Fasting Is NOT About Earning God's Favor
You already have His favor through Christ. Fasting is about positioning yourself for breakthrough, sharpening your spiritual sensitivity, and demonstrating seriousness to God.
What Fasting Does:
- Positions you for breakthrough (Isaiah 58:6-8)
- Sharpens spiritual sensitivity (Daniel 9:3)
- Demonstrates seriousness to God (Joel 2:12)
- Breaks demonic resistance (Matthew 17:21)
- Accesses greater authority (Acts 13:2-3)
Your Declaration:
"I want You more than I want food. I want breakthrough more than I want comfort."

Prayer + Fasting
How Fasting Amplifies Prayer
When you combine fasting with fervent, targeted prayer, you create a spiritual environment where breakthrough becomes inevitable. Fasting removes spiritual static and sharpens your ability to hear God and war in the spirit.
Authority in Spirit
Fasting positions you in greater spiritual authority. When you fast and pray, you operate from a place of heightened anointing.
Breaking Strongholds
Stubborn strongholds that resist normal prayer crumble when you add fasting. This is spiritual warfare at its highest level.
Kingdom Victories
The greatest Kingdom victories in Scripture and church history came through seasons of fasting and prayer combined.
Your First Fast
1. Set Clear Purpose
Don't fast randomly. Fast with a specific prayer target: breakthrough in an area, spiritual clarity, or defeating a specific stronghold.
2. Start Small
Begin with a 24-hour water fast. As you grow, extend to 3 days, then 7 days. Build your fasting capacity gradually.
3. Journal & Pray
During your fast, spend extra time in prayer and journaling. Record what God is showing you. Expect breakthrough.
