The Truth About Readiness

Readiness is NOT perfection.

It's honesty. It's saying "Yes" to Jesus despite your doubts, fears, and imperfections.

You don't have to be perfect.

You have to be willing. You have to be honest. You have to be open. God takes care of the rest.

God doesn't wait for you to be ready. He MAKES you ready as you follow.

Take the first step. He'll meet you there.

What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus?

It's Not About Religion

Following Jesus isn't about keeping rules or going through religious motions. It's about a personal relationship with the God who created you and loves you unconditionally.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6 (KJV)

It's About Transformation

When you follow Jesus, you don't just get a new set of rules—you get a new heart. The Holy Spirit comes to live inside you and begins changing you from the inside out.

You'll still mess up sometimes. You'll still struggle. But you won't be alone anymore. God's power will be at work in you, helping you become more like Jesus every day.

It's a Life-Long Journey

Following Jesus isn't a one-time decision and then you're done. It's the beginning of a journey that lasts your entire life. Every day you'll wake up and choose to trust Him, obey Him, and grow closer to Him.

Some days will be easy. Some days will be hard. But He promises to never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

The Gospel Explained Simply

The Four Essential Truths

1.

God Loves You and Created You for a Purpose

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16 (KJV)

2.

Sin Separates Us from God

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Sin isn't just "bad things" we do. It's a condition we're born with—a natural tendency to rebel against God and go our own way.

3.

Jesus Died to Pay the Price for Your Sin

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8 (KJV)

On the cross, Jesus took the punishment you deserved. He died in your place. Three days later, He rose from the dead, proving He has power over sin and death.

4.

You Must Receive Jesus by Faith

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." - Romans 10:9 (KJV)

Salvation is a free gift, but you must receive it. You can't earn it or deserve it. You simply believe and receive.
